Fast Speed Swing Door Turnstile
These slim, high-end gym turnstiles with efficient driving mechanisms make an excellent addition to entryways with limited space, offering efficient access control at an economical price point.
The RS Swing turnstile features tall glass panels for physical protection and anti-tailgating functionality, providing office spaces with additional security. It can easily integrate with multiple other devices and supports capacity expansion to meet evolving requirements.
Optical Turnstiles
Optical turnstiles are modern security gate solutions that combine aesthetics with functionality. They employ sophisticated identification technologies (facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and ID card recognition) combined with encoder positioning technology to quickly recognize people, achieve accurate positioning, avoid collisions and ensure safety. In comparison with ordinary turnstile gates which use proximity switches or optocoupler signals to limit access, intelligent turnstiles provide added features such as anti-pinch protection against pinching/collision/tailgating to provide access control; making these turnstiles an ideal option when high security environments or large volumes of people are expected.
Security turnstiles are increasingly used in office buildings, data centers, government institutions and university campuses to safeguard access to sensitive areas while streamlining crowd management and providing an efficient passageway for members and visitors. They may come equipped with various types of identification readers to suit a facility’s individual requirements; optical turnstiles can be further divided into swing barrier turnstiles, sliding gate turnstiles or drop arm turnstiles for improved accessibility.
These stylish turnstiles boast sleek lines and modern design while providing high throughput speeds, making them suitable for locations with a large number of people. Furthermore, they can be integrated with other identification and security systems to increase security.
For maximum security, select a dual barrier optical turnstile which employs both physical and electronic barriers to prevent unauthorised entry. Some models even feature pressure sensor tops to detect attempts to climb over the turnstile pedestal and 1/4 tailgate detection that distinguishes humans from objects to reduce false alarms.
Other security turnstiles use a lane-locking mechanism to thwart any unwelcomed personnel by locking the barrier as soon as someone passes through a lane. They may come equipped with various identification readers that fit different facility needs, including barcode scanners, HID or Mifare access card readers and fingerprint scanners. They may be configured either standalone or networked environments and connected via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or mobile networks to an external server.
For high-security environments, consider opting for a dual-lane optical turnstile equipped with biometric recognition software to verify credentials and block unauthorized entry. Such turnstiles may also include other security features like non-entry detection, obstruction detection, human body sensing, card swiping and face recognition to further increase level of protection. Some models even come equipped with touch panels to improve user interaction for further convenience and efficiency of use.
Cylindar Turnstiles
Cylinder swing turnstiles are an access control solution that allow only authorized personnel to pass through. They can be integrated with card reading systems or biometric features to increase security in various environments, while their simple mechanical structure makes it an economical and trustworthy option for many organizations.
Cylindar turnstiles feature anti-pinch, anti-collision and anti-tailgate features as well as an impressive response speed that surpasses that of traditional turnstile gates, making them suitable for high traffic environments like airports. Furthermore, they can easily be tailored to specific project requirements making them suitable for airports, stations, docks scenic spots smart communities prisons.
Cylinder turnstiles stand out from traditional turnstiles by their sophisticated appearance and use of durable materials, and can even be customized to match the aesthetic of different settings; for instance, they can be engraved with logos or given special finishes that create a distinctive appearance.
Performance wise, cylinder turnstiles offer significant improvements over their traditional counterparts in that they can process up to 40 people per minute compared to just 30 or so; making cylinder turnstiles the ideal solution for organizations with high traffic environments.
An operational system of a cylinder turnstile consists of two locking rollers, a gate arm, and a valve assembly connected by hinges that lock into place when activated by passengers passing through gate arm. As soon as someone walks through gate arm and pushes against barrier against force of pressure from reservoir 33 and opens valve assembly 32 releasing fluid into cylinder 26 moving piston 25 upward towards horizontal barrier position and engaging both locking rollers via hinges that connect them – this will release fluid into cylinder 26 which then releases piston 25 and T-bar 24 to contact each locking roller until they come into contact with locking rollers or horizontal barrier position.
To ensure proper operation of a cylinder turnstile, it is crucial to conduct regular checks and maintenance. This should include monthly inspections of its operating mechanism to check for wear or damage that needs replacement immediately. Furthermore, opening/closing actions as well as noise levels should also be tested periodically to detect malfunctions and possible defects.
Column Rotating Turnstiles
Column rotating swing turnstiles feature mechanical anti-pinch wings that prevent their gates from being forced open by force or when being pushed by hand; additionally they can detect any attempt at passage without authorization and immediately stop it if detected; these turnstiles are widely used by government agencies, clubs & century, office buildings etc to manage pedestrian flow efficiently.
These turnstiles offer high speed and low maintenance costs, can easily integrate with various access control devices to provide door entry management functions, are user-friendly, ideal for large spaces when many people enter simultaneously; and can be operated manually or automatically based on individual requirements; the barrier height can even be changed accordingly.
Turntiles with flexible plastic surfaces offer greater plasticity in appearance, making them popular choices in smart quick-pass doors and intelligent business buildings. Their low noise levels ensure smooth operation. Their design also makes them suitable for any environment including offices and high-end clubs.
This type of turnstile consists of three offset locking arms connected by bearing pins that can be reset back to their normal working positions through the rotation of a rotor. If an event caused one of the locking arms to fold down into non-use, simply resetting one will return it to normal usage; resetting is particularly safe since its articulation axis passes through a lower culmination point on its orbit around its bearing plate.
These bidirectional turnstile gates can be opened or closed by remote control or button switch, and are equipped with various reader modules including barcode, card, fingerprint, and QR readers for enhanced protection against unauthorise entry. Their indicator colors and styles can also be customized to match any design scheme within an entrance lobby.
To ensure the safety of these turnstiles, it is crucial that users conduct periodic inspections on them to check for damaged or aged parts and observe how well they operate – especially opening and closing properly. Any issues should be promptly addressed through structural adjustments or after-sales services.
Stainless Steel Turnstiles
Stainless steel is often chosen as the material for access control turnstiles used in harsh environments, particularly marine applications. PC over galvanized and higher grade 316 versions can withstand abuse while looking aesthetically pleasing at the same time. Traditional full height security turnstiles (commonly referred to by their critics as cheese graters) may be constructed of either 304 or 316 stainless, or powder coated depending on budget and wear-and-tear factors of their installation portals.
Speed Gate security turnstiles provide a more aesthetically-pleasing solution, with swing panels measuring up to 2 meters tall that can be painted any of 12 suggested colors – making these luxury turnstiles suitable for high-end spaces requiring an upscale appearance without compromising security and durability.
Rotary turnstiles are used for various purposes, from regulating entry to an office building or hotel to tracking who enters a gym or cultural center. Like other rotary turnstiles, they are secure and can effectively prevent piggybacking by holding onto people’s cards or fingerprints as they rotate the barrier barrier. Furthermore, their unique dropping arm allows them to remain open during emergencies or power failures for easy egress in case of emergencies or power outages.
These turnstiles can be combined with any of our RFID and Biometrics systems for entry management solutions, providing complete entry management. This includes RFID readers, biometric readers, passcard or keypad readers, tablets and even an NFC reader for mobile ticketing and payment – perfect for facilities wishing to manage crowds more effectively or require greater control at their entry points. They’re an ideal solution for managing crowds efficiently or need more control at entry points in their facilities.
